Bio
Since picking up a bow in the early 80's, Roger has had the privilege to pursue whitetail, mule deer, elk, hogs, turkey and scores of small game throughout the country. With a passion for archery and bowhunting, he has become an accomplished archer and Colorado State Champion. Roger also contributed the chapter on backcountry bowhunting in Jay Houston's book, Elk Hunting 201.

As a former Pastor, it was a natural fit for him to accept
the position as the director of High Country Ministries, an outdoor/ hunting ministry based in Colorado. The parallels of archery and life provide wonderful insights for living. The desire to see others grow drove him to become an NAA certified instructor and he can be found at the local archery shop, Churches or men's event promoting the sport of archery and bowhunting while instructing others on proper shooting form and giving advice on proven hunting secrets and techniques. Roger and his wife Shasta, reside in Colorado Springs and is the father of 4 fantastic children and is a member of the Hoyt and Easton National Shooting Staff and Pro Staff Shooter for Carter Ent., Trophy Taker, Winner's Choice and God's Country Camo.
